Dr. Elie D. Aboulafia
Dr. Elie D. Aboulafia, 93, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 09 May 2022. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 11 May 2022 at 1:00 PM . The family of Dr. Elie D. Aboulafia will be gathering through the evening of Monday, May 16 at the residence, 27501 W. 14 Mile Road, Farmington Hills MI 48334. Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, and Monday at 6:30 p.m. with religious services being held at 7:00 p.m. Masks are required for anyone attending the Shiva. Family members include: Beloved husband of 57 years of Eileen Aboulafia. Cherished father of Diane (Dr. Peter) Shapiro, Dr. David (Audrey) Aboulafia, Dr. Albert (fiancee Cheryl Kalb) Aboulafia, Robert (Deborah) Steingold, David (Lisa Dwyer) Steingold, Michael (Janice) Steingold, and Dr. Mark Steingold. Proud grandfather of Miriam (Yves), Dr. Gabriella (Joe), Elie Chorlton, Jacob, Ariella, Alanna, Woody (Carla), Jason, Sean (Brooke), Rachel (Adam), Lindsay (Aaron), Eric, Meghan, Dana (Matt), Jamie (Reuben), Melissa (Barrett), and Dr. Brandon. Adoring great-grandfather of Yoni, Yael, Zaidie, Stella, Caleb, George, Hunter, Asher, Juniper, Ivy, Jackson, Miles, and Josie. Loving brother of Dr. Yeshaya Aboulafia. Dear brother-in-law of Dr. Paul (Dr. Ruth) Helman. Devoted son of the late David and the late Mazel Aboulafia. Also survived by Susan Steingold, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, friends, and his devoted caregivers, Nefertiti Newsome and Caitlin Bonner.
