Leanne Small, 79, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 05 April 2022. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 07 April 2022 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. The family of Leanne Small will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, April 08 at the residence of Brian and Amy Small, 3042 Shadydale Lane, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-892-1335. Family and friends will be gathering on Thursday immediately following the interment and on Friday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Religious services will be held on 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Family members include: Beloved wife of 58 years of Dr. Richard Small. Cherished mother of Brian (Amy) Small and Scott (Jenny) Small. Proud grandmother of Eliana Small, Jared Small, Jacob Small, Samantha Vine, and Evan Vine. Dear sister-in-law of Sheldon Alkon and the late Lorraine Alkon. Also survived by loving relatives and friends. Leanne loved to travel and was the cruise queen having decided flying was truly for the birds. She graduated with an art degree from the University of Michigan and applied her love of art throughout her adult life in designing, creating and painting elaborate needlepoint canvases, decorative pillows, talit covers, and huppahs. She was an avid reader and loved her children and grandchildren taking great pride in their accomplishments.
