Pauline Schwartz



Pauline Schwartz, 94, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 30 December 2021.

The Funeral was held at Graveside at Oakview Cemetery, 1032 N Main St, Royal Oak, MI 48067 on Thursday, 06 January 2022 at 11:00 AM .

Rabbi Jennifer Kaluzny officiated.

She is survived by her daughter Sue (Jeff) Hoffman, and daughter-in-law Debbie Schwartz.

Devoted grandmother of Dr. Brian Schwartz (Dr. Laura Pincus), Andrea (Dan) Wald, Karen Schwartz (Daniel Lederman), Steven Schwartz (Gehang), Eric (Morielle) Hoffman, and Alex (Natasha) Hoffman. Adored great-grandmother of Hannah and Miles Schwartz, Madeline and Mikayla Wald, Jonah and Ethan Lederman, and Aliana Hoffman.

Beloved wife and jitterbug partner of the late Harry Schwartz for 74 years, she is also predeceased by her sons Michael and Jerry, siblings Alfred Bricker and Audrey Mogill, and her parents, Harry and Fannie Bricker.

She loved her family, yiddishkeit, music and fashion. She grew up in Detroit, built a life in Alma, and returned to live in Farmington Hills, where she spent decades enjoying time with family, friends, and her Temple Israel community. She is remembered lovingly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families, as well as friends from Alma, Metro Detroit and beyond.
