Chadwick Roberts, 65, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, a life long rebel, schemer, and dreamer, passed away on November 3, 2021. A beyond cherished father of Brianne Vogt-Roberts and Jordan Vogt-Roberts. Adored brother of Infamous Roberts-Clan-of-Six: Gwen (Joe Ziomek) Baseman, Michael (Carole) Roberts, Joseph (the late Linda Tucker Roberts) Roberts, Patti (Jim Bialik) Roberts, and finally his little sister to whom he saw himself as a equal parts altruistic protector and professional agitator - Joan (Bill) Bobee. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews for his unbreakable commitment to lovingly and stubbornly pushing the proverbial envelope. “Dadwick” as his son liked to call him was impressively worldweary in a way that made everyone who interacted with him question at a young age as he defiantly refused to bend to conformity and risk letting the vibrancy of his Child-Like-Wonder ever be broken.. Also survived by former wife…his unquestionable soul mate and and mother-extraordinaire to his children -The extraordinarily compassionate Marla Vogt-Roberts. Finally this list would not be nearly complete without Chadwick’s rogues gallery of oddball friends, faeries and extraordinary creatures of the night that have meaningly became surrogate family. This includes many legendary figures including Sheri Mark and Abe Slaim, in addition to Mr. Gary and the late Melanie Sicherman. Finally, Chadwick’s obituary would be incomplete without mention of any and all of the souls that passed through and were forever changed by the house at Tamerlane Drive.

Masks are required for anyone attending the funeral.

Due to Covid concerns, the family will be sitting shiva privately.
