Elaine Serman, 96, of Bingham Farms, Michigan, died on 12 August 2021.

The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Tuesday, 17 August 2021 at 1:00 PM .

Rabbi Aaron Starr, Rabbi Joseph Krakoff, Hazzan David Propis officiated.

Please be aware that per Clover Hill Park policy, all attendees sitting inside the Davidson/Hermelin Chapel must wear a mask.

The family of Elaine Serman will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, August 18 at the residence of Bonnie Seligson, 5434 Whitehall Circle, West Bloomfield MI 48323.

Family and friends will be gathering on Tuesday immediately following the interment until 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday evening.

Shiva will be outside. Masks required for those unvaccinated. Masks preferred for those vaccinated.

Family members include: Beloved wife of 54 years of the late William "Billy" Serman. Cherished mother of Jeffrey (the late Linda) Serman and Bonnie Seligson. Loving Grammy of Joanna (Jonathan) Dwoskin, Jamie (Joseph) Garavaglia, Jonathan (Rachel) Serman, Emily (Ben) Smith, and Rachel (Gabriel) Molnar. Proud Great-Babba of Jacob and Aria Dwoskin, Chloe and Sam Garavaglia, Ayla and Evan Serman, Jack and Charlie Smith, and Miles and Ozzie Molnar. Dear sister of the late Harold (the late Erma) Brode. Also survived by many loving and adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and a world of friends.

Mrs. Serman was a dedicated member of the Jewish Women’s Foundation, Life member of Hadassah, Lifelong member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek, and Sinai Hospital Guild.
