Gary David Rubenstein

Gary David Rubenstein died on 20 July 2021.

Gary David Rubenstein, 66, passed away peacefully at home. Gary was a loving son to Marvin and Mildred Rubenstein and brother to Jack.

He leaves his wife of 41 years, Jaime (Booke), sons Jason and Alex (Kristina) and grandson Parker.

Gary and Jaime shared their love of travel, Broadway musicals, Lakeway Sing Along and adjudicating local Austin High School musicals.

Gary enjoyed playing ice hockey, floor hockey (with his sons), B'nai B'rith Men's Camp and being together with his many friends.

Gary started his career in commercial real estate. He then went on to procure property to build Embassy Suite hotels. A brief stint with Days Inn, Ramada, and Howard Johnson's brought his family to Portland, OR. His career shifted when he began securing property to build low-income housing in rural areas. This led him to the Trust Department of U.S. Bank, Portland. Seeking to make a change, his last position was with Fisher Investments as Senior VP of Sales for the west coast and Texas.

Jaime and Gary moved to Lakeway, Texas in Fall 2007. Gary loved his community and being involved in local organizations.

We will miss his humor, spirit, compassion, and kind heart. May he rest in Peace.
