Dr. Leonard Lachover
Dr. Leonard Lachover, 82, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 23 July 2021. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 26 July 2021 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff and Hazzan David Propis officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Dr. Leonard Lachover will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, July 28 at the residence, 5560 Edinborough, West Bloomfield MI 48322. On Monday, following interment, the family is requesting immediate family only at the home. Gathering for friends and family will begin at 6:30 p.m. On Tuesday and Wednesday family and friends are welcome from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and again starting at 6:30 p.m. Religious services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings. Dr. Leonard Lachover, 82, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 23 July 2021. Beloved husband of 36 years of Cookie Lachover. Cherished father of Rachel (Scott) Lachover-Sadoff. Loving Saba of Asa and Sloane Sadoff. Devoted son of the late Dr. Morris and the late Gertrude Lachover. Son-in-law of Sam and Sara Marks. Loving brother of Miriam “Mickey” (the late Arthur) Leib. Brother-in-law of Elinor and Robert Shook and Michael Marks. Dr. Lachover served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force 1968-1970. He also served as a medic in the Yom Kippur War in Israel. Dr. Lachover is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
