Dennis Brooks, 78, of Farmington Hills. Michigan, died on 12 July 2021. The Funeral was held at Graveside at Clover Hill Park Cemetery, 2425 E. 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Thursday, 15 July 2021 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Avie Shapiro officiated. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
He was the loving father of Dana (Michael) Reinglass of Northbrook, IL and proud Papa of his grandchildren, Noah Brooks Reinglass, 13, and Lainey Brooks Reinglass, 12, also of Northbrook, IL. Devoted son of the late Pearl and Alfred Brooks. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Sharon and Bob Rudin of Farmington Hills, the late Lynda Brooks, and Debbie and Jeff Chutz of Bloomfield Hills. Uncle to Michael (Missy) Rudin of Orchard Lake Village, Lisa (Ken) McCurry of Solon, OH, Steven Rudin of Alexandria, VA, Ben (Dani Gillman) Chutz of Bloomfield Hills, Zack (Jenna) Chutz of Pittsboro, NC, and Evie (Scott) Sonenberg of Berkley. He was blessed to have lifelong friends and special relationships with his wonderful cousins and close friend, Laurie Greene. He will always be remembered as a good, kind man with a playful sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him and spend time with him. Family and friends of Dennis Brooks will be gathering at 5434 White Hall Circle, West Bloomfield, MI 48323 on Thursday, July 15 immediately following the interment until 8:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. The family is requesting that only those that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 attend the burial and the shiva.
