David Elbinger



David Elbinger, 82, of Commerce Township, Michigan, died on 15 May 2021.

The Funeral was held at Graveside on Wednesday, 19 May 2021 at 11:00 AM .

Rabbi Jennifer Lader officiated.

The family of David Elbinger will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, May 19 at the residence of Kevin and Eden Elbinger, 30135 Willow Court N., Farmington Hills MI 48331.

Family and friends will be gathering on Wednesday only from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Religious services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Per request of the family, shiva will ONLY be outside. There will be no entry into the house for any reason. No restrooms will be available and no food will be provided due to Covid precautions.

Family members include:
Beloved husband of 51 years of Rochelle "Ricki" Elbinger. Cherished father of Jason (Rachel) Elbinger and Kevin (Eden) Elbinger. Proud grandfather of Skylar and Zachary Elbinger. Loving brother of Sandra (Marvin) Sheplow and the late Delly (the late Bob) Rycus. Dear brother-in-law of Arline (Alvin) Gitt. Devoted son of the late Benjamin and the late Lillian Elbinger.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 people inside and 50 at graveside.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
