Jerome "Jerry" Glassman, 94, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 12 May 2021. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Thursday, 13 May 2021 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Neil Michaels officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Family members include: Beloved husband of 69 years of the late Debbie Glassman; cherished father of Lenore (Alan) Deutch Singer, George (Sherri) Glassman, and Judith G. Etkin; father-in-law of the late Harvey Deutch; loving Papa Jerry of Stephanie (Dr. Jordan) Goldstein, Brad (Leanne) Deutch, Justin (Elyse) Singer, Rachael Glassman, Michael (Dr. Mindy Raminick) Glassman, Jamie (Jordan) Sherman, Maude Etkin, and Stephanie Etkin Hart; proud Great-Grand Papa of Harrison Goldstein, Bryce Goldstein, Harvee Deutch, Bowen Deutch, Calvin Singer, Ezra Hart, and Elsa Sherman. Devoted son of the late George and the late Lenore Glassman; brother-in-law of the late Allen (and the late Margie) Charnes; loving nieces Ellen Charnes, Marilyn Engel, and Sandra Simmons; loving caregivers Kelvin, Debbie, and Benjamin. THERE IS AN ALL-NUT ALLERGY IN THE FAMILY, SO PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYTHING WITH NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS TO THE FAMILY. WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 people inside and 50 at graveside.
