Udo became an Electrical Contractor, starting his own company in Detroit, serving the community for over half a century. Udo was an active Southfield Rotarian for many years. He passed on his love of bowling and golf to his sons and grandchildren. Family was always a priority, providing a great sense of joy and satisfaction.

Zoom Shiva Services for Udo L. Salk will be held Thursday, April 29th at 7:00 p.m. for all family and friends to attend. Loren Blumberg will be leading services. Click here to join the family.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 people inside and 50 at graveside.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.

Together, we thank the community for understanding during this unusual and challenging time.
