Jeffrey Joseph Wachler, 93, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 27 March 2021. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Tuesday, 30 March 2021 at 4:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Jeffrey Joseph Wachler (Jeff) passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on March 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 62 years, Eileene. At the time of his death, Jeff was surrounded by his four sons. Jeff is survived by his loving partner of the past eight years, Sally Becker. A Veteran of the U.S. Navy, Jeff was born on Aug. 4, 1927 to David and Elizabeth Wachler and raised in the Detroit area with his two brothers, the late Norman and the late Leonard Wachler. For many decades he worked alongside his father and his sons in the jewelry business. Jeff will be missed by his four sons Link (Jody), Drew (Lori), Gary (Susan), and Glenn (Ellen). His legacy will be honored by his grandchildren Eli, Grant, Dan, Hannah (AJ), Dustin (Dalia), David, JJ, Erin, Emma, and the late Jordan. An attentive great-grandfather, Jeff had eight great-grandchildren, Silas and Asher Janosko, Lila and Andrew Wachler, Riley, Wyatt, and Sawyer McClelland, and Jayden Wachler. Jeff also leaves behind his beloved brother-in-law, Barry (Barbara) Grant. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 people inside and 50 at graveside.
