Robert Winston Roberts
Robert Winston Roberts, 76, of Birmingham, Michigan, died on 25 February 2021. Bob was born in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Theodore Roberts and Audree Winston on July 27, 1944. Born into a family of furriers that remained the preeminent fur retailer in Metro Detroit since 1892, Bob continued the family tradition for over 40 years as the President of Furs by Robert. Bob was an amazing father and a wonderful friend who had an ability to elicit smiles from all those around him. In his free time, Bob was an avid golfer and loved to travel. Bob is survived by his son, Robert David Roberts; daughter, Alexandra Lindsay Roberts; sister, Jaedene Levy; brother-in-law, Charles Levy; and nieces Marjorie Tashman and Stephanie Tobin. At Bob’s request, services will be private. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Yad Ezra – to assist families in need.
