Sam Tolchin, 89, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 14 February 2021.

The Funeral was a Private Graveside Service on Thursday, 18 February 2021 at 2:00 PM .

Rabbi Josh Bennett officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved husband of 63 years of Esther Tolchin. Cherished father of Marsha (Shelly) Lustig, Neal Tolchin (Mark Bellino), and Dana Lewis. Loving grandfather of Kaitlyn Lustig (Peter Kosiarek), Morgan Lustig (Jacob Laser), Alex (Mahmoud Kamel) Lewis, Josh Lewis, and Ben Bellino. Brother of the late Oscar Tolchin and the late Joe Tolchin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 18 people inside and 25 at graveside.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
