Paul RussmanPaul Russman, 90, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 04 February 2021. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Sunday, 07 February 2021 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Aaron Bergman officiated. Click to watch a video of the recorded service. Beloved husband of 64 years of Elaine Tanzman Russman. Cherished father of Steven Russman (Ruth Taubman), Laurie Russman (Ricardo Borisonik), Matthew (Lisa) Russman, Andrew (Alicia) Russman, and Pamela Russman-Chambers (Dexter Chambers). Adored grandfather of Daniel, David, Maximo, Rafael, Abby, Mia, Becca, Josh, Darius, and Talia. Devoted son of the late Tillie and the late Louis Russman, and son-in-law of the late Anna and the late Joseph Tanzman. Loving brother of the late Robert (Sandy) Russman and the late Alvin Russman (the late Sherry), his closest friend, and brother-in-law of the late Arnold (Marcia) Tanzman; and the late Burton Tanzman. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25 for an outdoor service, or 18 for an indoor service.
Paul Russman had a lifetime passion for and commitment to his alma mater, the University of Michigan, as well as a deep love of summer camp and family camping trips.
