Sophie Rosengard
Sophie Rosengard, aged 104, died peacefully in her home in Bloomfield Hills, MI on January 28, 2021. Her remarkable longevity was only the last of Sophie’s many accomplishments throughout her long life, which bridged two global pandemics, the Great Depression, and at least seven U.S. wars. Sophie excelled in academics, in her professional life, in music, and in athletics, and she was an inventive cook as well. Sophie’s husband Irving died in 2006. She leaves behind their two daughters, Beth Rosengard and Judy Gray, son-in-law Peter Gray, grandson Jeffrey Gray and his wife Eisa Colton Gray, and two great-grandsons, Henry and Elliot Gray.
