Laura Kienscherf, 89, of Southfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 03 January 2021. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Thursday, 07 January 2021 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Marla Hornsten officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Laura loved her family and all animals, including multiple stray cats taken in over the years. Her interests included bowling, coloring, dancing, listening to music, and shopping. Laura and Daryn shared a sense of humor and enjoyed watching Seinfeld and going to Tigers’ games together. Laura graduated from Central High School in Detroit and worked at the downtown Hudsons. She will be greatly missed. Beloved wife of the late Gary Kienscherf. Cherished mother of Daryn (Susan Davis-) Kienscherf and the late Suzie Kienscherf. Loving aunt of Paul Eisenberg and Barbara Miller. Adoring great-aunt of Jason Miller. Devoted daughter of the late David and the late Minnie Eisenberg. Dear sister of the late Hal Eisenberg and the late Shel Ellison. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25.
