Arthur Shafer, 94, of Laguna Woods, California, died on 19 December 2020.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE on Sunday, 03 January 2021 at 11:00 AM .

Rabbi Marla Hornsten officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved husband of the late Simone Shafer. Cherished father of Bruce (Stephanie) Shafer. Proud grandfather of Anna Rose Shafer and Emiline Maria Shafer. Loving brother of Muriel Rosen. Devoted son of the late Isador and the late Lena Shafer.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 25.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
