Charles Hauptman, 99, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 31 October 2020.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE on Wednesday, 04 November 2020 at 2:00 PM .

Rabbi Tamara Kolton officiated.

Family members include:
Mr. Hauptman is survived by his wife of 76 years, Martha. He was the loving father of Marcia, Gary (Debbie Diener), and youngest son and devoted friend Steven. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Darcy Barry (David Kaminskas, much adored grandson-in-law), and Sean Barry.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 36.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
