Julie Karabenick, PhD, 73, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, died on 08 August 2020.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Monday, 10 August 2020 at 3:30 PM .

Rabbi Tamara Kolton officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved wife of the late Stuart Karabenick. Cherished mother of Rachel Karabenick and Leah Karabenick. Dear sister of Wendy (Byron) Dyke. Proud aunt of Emily Dyke and Justin (Barby Moro) Dyke Moro, and Ambrose Moro. Also survived by Stuart's children, Robin Leavy and Scott (Brenda) Karabenick, and Stuart's grandchildren, Zoe and Anthony Karabenick. Devoted daughter of the late Ambrose and the late Virginia Drew.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 36.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
