Loretta Siegel Ziegelman, 81, of Sarasota, Florida and West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 26 June 2020.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Sunday, 28 June 2020 at 4:00 PM .

Rabbi Joseph Krakoff and Cantor Penny Steyer officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved wife of 61 years of Dr. Seymour Ziegelman. Cherished mother of Sharon Ziegelman, Julie Ziegelman, and Daryl (Cindy) Ziegelman. Loving Grams of Steven (Carly) Betel, Melanie Betel, Ahava "Thea" Jackman, Beatrix Jackman, Sam and Evan Ziegelman and the late Theol Ray Jackman III, Great-grandmother of Aurora Betel. Devoted daughter of the late David and the late Sarah Siegel. Sister of the late Richard (the late Susan) Siegel.

Loretta graduated from the University of Michigan in 1960 with a Bachelors of Arts in Early Education and Wayne State University with and MSW degree Loretta received the gift of a lung transplant on April 10th, 2010. To honor Loretta, please register to give the gift of life by becoming an organ donor.

On Monday June 29, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m., and Tuesday June 30, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. there will be a drive-by Shiva at 6425 Noble Rd., West Bloomfield. The Ziegelman Family will be at the top of the driveway and guests are welcome to drive up and visit inside/outside their cars at the end of the driveway. The family encourages the use of masks and will be at least 20 feet from guests to maintain social distancing. You may visit as long as you like so long as there aren’t other people waiting. Otherwise, please limit visits to five minutes.

A Zoom Shiva is planned for ALL friends and family on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Traditional services and Kaddish will be said along with a time for stories and other remembrances to be shared with the family. A PIN code will be required to join the meeting. If you have not already received the PIN, please contact the family for assistance.
