George Cooper
George Cooper, 92, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 19 May 2020. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Thursday, 21 May 2020 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Michael Moskowitz and Cantor Penny Steyer officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Family members include: George Cooper is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Rose Cooper; his children Janice (Larry) Cohen, Gary (Terri) Cooper and Jackie (Michael) Epstein; grandchildren Aaron (Alyssa) Fisher-Cohen, Jordan (Mandy) Cohen, Danny Epstein, Sarah Epstein, and Ben Cooper. Great-grandchildren Nora and Anna Fisher-Cohen and Kai Cohen. Brother of the late Leo Cooper and the late Morris Cooper. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a plumbing contractor by trade, a pilot for fun and an all-around great guy. He was happy in the air or in the water but most of all on solid ground with Rose. His laugh will be missed by all. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 10.
