Dr. Louis Egnater, 94, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 03 April 2020. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Friday, 03 April 2020 at 3:00 PM . Rabbi Matthew Zerwick officiated. Cherished father of Beth Applebaum (Jeff Applebaum), Joel Egnater (Bruce Stumvoll), Ruth Egnater (Lenny Silverman), and Dean Egnater (Karen Halberg). Grandfather of Barbara Applebaum (Luke Rygh), Dana Applebaum, Jordan Silverman (Maggie Field), Carly Silverman (Sara Young), and Gabrielle Egnater. Great-grandfather of June Rygh. Brother of the late Jack (the late Gertie) Nater and the late Barney (the late Carol) Egnater. Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 10, for at least the month of April.
