Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 10, for at least the month of April.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.

Together, we thank the community for understanding during this unusual and challenging time.

George is survived by his sons, David and James Zeff, and his sisters, Liliane Hershkowitz and Danielle Susser.  George left us in beautiful suspense.  “Lest We Forget” and who can forget him singing “Thank Heaven For Little Girls”.

George’s charisma, giving nature and storytelling were remarkable; born from Polish immigrants to survive the Holocaust with a smile and a cowboy hat.

George’s character was a saving grace for him and those that suffered. We honor “TheRighteous” from his childhood and now those that are risking their lives and did their best to save him.
