Gilbert deMarrais, 66, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 24 March 2020.

The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Wednesday, 25 March 2020 at 12:00 PM .

Rabbi Joshua Bennett officiated.

Family members include:
Beloved husband of the late Ellen deMarrais. Cherished father of Brett (Marissa) deMarrais and Chelsea deMarrais. Proud grandfather of Myles deMarrais. Devoted son of the late Gilbert deMarrais and the late Janet deMarrais. Loving brother of Doug (Sarah) deMarrais, Glenn (Sharon) deMarrais, Scott (Robin) deMarrais, Joanne deMarrais, and Annette (Doug) Jester. Dear brother-in-law of Jeffrey (Kimberly) Kramer.

Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 10, for at least the month of March.

For now, in-person funeral attendance will be limited to only immediate family. Otherwise, funerals may be viewed live and recorded on chapel websites.
