Leonard Burg
Leonard Burg, 85, of Bloomfield Township, Michigan, died on 23 March 2020. The Funeral was A PRIVATE FAMILY GRAVESIDE SERVICE on Wednesday, 25 March 2020 at 3:00 PM . Rabbi Joseph Krakoff officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Family members include: Devoted husband of Bernice Burg, his wife of 55 years. Cherished father of Stephanie (Josh) Freedman and Barry Burg; Loving grandfather of Danielle, Jenna and Max. Devoted son of the late Ella and the late Benjamin Burg. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1934, Leonard graduated from James Madison High School and resided in Chicago for 44 years prior to moving to Michigan. Leonard was an executive in the women’s apparel industry throughout his professional career. He will be remembered for his dedication to his wife, children, grandchildren and friends, as well as his creativity and charisma.
Metro Detroit’s Jewish funeral homes have agreed that families should follow the directive of Centers for Disease Control and restrict the size of gatherings to no more than 10, for at least the month of March.
