Arthur Plotkin
Arthur Plotkin, 92, of Franklin, Michigan, died on 16 December 2019. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 22 December 2019 at 12:00 PM . Cantor Daniel Gross officiated. The family of Arthur Plotkin will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, December 22 at the residence, 24420 Bloomington Drive, Franklin MI 48025. The phone number is 248-851-1360. Friends are welcome to visit immediately following the interment through Sunday evening. Family members include: He was the beloved husband of Carol Plotkin, cherished father of Neil (Annabelle) Plotkin, Leah (David Grace) Plotkin, and Carol's children Chris (the late Norm) Penzak, and Jamie Alpern. Arthur was the adoring grandfather of Oscar and Lucas Plotkin. He was preceded in death by his six siblings, Anne (Phillip) Helfman, Alfred (Thelma) Plotkin, Florence (Arthur) Schulz, Bernard Plotkin, Marcus (Lillian) Plotkin, and Betty Rose (Sidney) Pianin. He is survived by Bernard's wife, Elaine Plotkin, brothers-in-law Robert (the late Sally) Sokolski and Jon (Marci Dodds) Sokolski. Arthur is also survived by mother-in-law Josephine Sokolski, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and caregivers Sharon, Ovetta, Ingrid, and Sade. Arthur was the beloved son of the late Samuel Plotkin and Dora Plotkin and the son-in-law of the late Nathaniel Sokolski.
