Fred Sklarchyk, 92, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 30 August 2019. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 02 September 2019 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Kasriel Shemtov officiated. The family of Fred Sklarchyk will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, September 04 at the residence, 6712 Oyster Cove , West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-683-5346. Friends are welcome to visit on Monday immediately following the interment and on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of 57 years of the late Jeannette Sklarchyk. Cherished father of Carolyn (Michael Morris) Sklarchyk, the late Susan MacDonald and father-in-law of Chris MacDonald. Loving grandfather of Benjamin Morris, Samuel Morris Emma Morris, Jason (Ariel) MacDonald and Rebecca MacDonald. Adoring great-grandfather of Layla Susan Macdonald. Dear brother of the late Harry (the late Shirley) Sklar, and the late Jack Sklar. Dear brother in law of Rita Sklar, Roy Gealer, the late Norma Gealer and the late Shirley (the late Eugene) Tapfer. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his devoted caregiver Irene Smith.
