Rita Jane Portney, 88, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died after sunset on 06 December 2018. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 09 December 2018 at 1:30 PM . The family of Rita Jane Portney will be gathering through the evening of Monday, December 10 at the residence of Shelley and Lenny Hutton, 5199 Woodlands Drive, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Dr. Jack E. Portney. Cherished mother of Shelley (Lenny) Hutton, Steven (Deborah) Portney, and Jeff (Andi) Portney. Loving Grandma of Michelle (Aaron) Bass, Sarah Hutton, Rachel (Brandon) Schneider, Morry Hutton, Rebecca (Mitch) Kirby, David (Taylor Novice) Portney, Daniel Portney, Allison Portney. Great-grandmother Judah Bass and Simon Bass. Sister of the late Dr. Arnold Stone. Sister-in-law of Nora Stone and Norma Sugar. Also remembered by her devoted caregivers, Barbara, Diann, Denice and Jennifer.
