Dr. Sherwin Lutz


Dr. Sherwin Lutz, 93, of Traverse City, Michigan, died on 09 September 2018.

The Memorial Service was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 12 September 2018 at 4:00 PM .

Rabbi Harold Loss officiated. The family of Dr. Sherwin Lutz will be gathering through the evening of Wednesday, September 12 at the residence of Michael and Kathryn Lutz, 552 Madison Street, Birmingham MI 48009.

Beloved husband of the late Laurel Lutz. Cherished father of Karen (Ron) Fenwick, Robert (Cheryl) Lutz, Michael (Kathryn) Lutz, Robert (Amy) Dorr, Carol Melcher (Jack Politz), Deb (Steve) Lazaroff and Diana Dorr. Loving grandfather of Stephen (Samuel) Schwartz-Fenwick, Marla (Al) Garmo, Kristofer (Lisa) Stimac, Patrick Walenty, Jeffrey (Dana) Lutz, Bradley Lutz, David Lutz, Kyle Lutz, Jenn Dorr, Kate Melcher, Scott (Carrie) Melcher, Carlee (Ryan) Hemphill, Shelby (Scot) MacPherson, Chelsea (Derek) Eisele, Kristen (Chris) Stoehr, Jenny (Rob) Lindquist and Cortney Cox. Adoring great-grandfather of Jack, Maya, Eve, Lucian, Layla, Anderson, Emerson, Lauren, Stevie, Luke, Jude and Cameron. Dear brother of the late Herbert Lutz. Brother-in-law of Wes (Pat) Thompson, Larry (Denise) Thompson, the late Ken Thompson and Diane Thompson. Sherwin will be missed by his dear friend Martha McDougall and his caregivers.
