Lorraine Faber, 84, of Oak Park, died on 30 June 2018. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 01 July 2018 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Robert Gamer and Cantor Samuel Greenbaum officiated. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Lorraine Faber will be gathering through the afternoon of Friday, July 06 at the residence of Meryl & Steve Greene, 26200 Raine, Oak Park MI 48237. Religious services will be conducted at 8:55 Sunday evening at Dovid Ben Nuchim in Oak Park. For the remainder of the week the family will be gathering at the residence of Meryl and Steve Greene from 11:00a.m.-3:00p.m. and again from 7:00-10:00 p.m. with services at 9:05 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Lorraine was a long-time employee of the Oak Park School District and the Oak Park Jewish Community Center. Her passing was preceded by her son, Gordon. Lorraine is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Sidney, her children, Howard (Jennifer) and Meryl (Steven), her grandchildren, Amber (Seth), Gavriella (Daniel), Ben, Grant (Sarah), Naomi, Dovid, and her great-grandchildren, Avromi, Suri, and Efraim. Lorraine will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Selma, Sister In Law Grace and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
