James Jerome Hall, 83, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 14 May 2018. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 17 May 2018 at 2:00 PM . James Jerome Hall, 83, died peacefully at his home in Bloomfield Hills after a courageous four-year battle with a debilitating neurologic disorder. He is survived by his life partner of 44 years, Dr. George J. Leach. James was a special friend of the late Barbara Nemer. He was the brother of the late Donald (the late Ruth) Hall and the late Eugene (the late Joelle) Hall and the brother-in-law of the late James Wilson. He is survived by his sister, Vera Wilson. He was the devoted son of the late Kathryn and the late Roy Hall. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his favorite cousin, Shirley Rein, and his loving caregivers, Jeannie Anderson-Boyd, Julie Myers, Darryl and Donna Grant, Samuel Attah, and Emeka Obi. James graduated with honors from Michigan State University and received his law degree from the University of Michigan. He was a member of the Michigan State Bar. A funeral mass is scheduled at St. Hugo of the Hills Church on Thursday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services at Ira Kaufman and interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery will follow.
