Robert August, 88, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died on 01 March 2018. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Sunday, 04 March 2018 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Brent Gutmann officiated. Interment at Beth Tefilo Emanuel.
The family of Robert August will be gathering through the evening of Monday, March 05 at the residence of Sherri Collen, 30250 Mayfair, Farmington Hills MI 48331. The phone number is 248-788-8960. The family will gather following interment on Sunday. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Family members include: Beloved husband of 63 years of the late Rosalyn August. Cherished father of Jill (Marshall) Stern, Jeffrey (Disarae Wright) August, and Sherri Collen. Loving Bop of Seth (Heather) Stern, Edward (Jordan) Stern, Scott (Kati) Stern, Noah Collen and Zachary Collen. Great-grand Bop of Avery Rozz Stern and Thomas Robert Stern. Brother of Norma (Jules) Lapides, Evelyn (Michael) Digon, and the late Edward August. Robert was a proud member of the Jewish War Veterans and served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
