FUNERAL DETAILS
Oscar BandOscar Band, 99, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 12 November 2017. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Tuesday, 14 November 2017 at 3:00 PM . The family of Oscar Band will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, November 16 at the residence, 2092 Rhine Court, West Bloomfield Mi 48323. The phone number is 248-851-8579. Religious Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of 23 1/2 years of Adele Gaba Band; Father of Alan (Mary) Band and Stanley (the late Samantha) Band; Loving grandpa of Michael (Kariann) Band; Also survived by Adele's children and grandchildren, Paul Gaba, Miriam (Brian) Halprin and Charles (Elisabeth) Gaba; grandchildren, Joshua Halprin, Samuel Halprin and Lionel Gaba; Brother of the late Rebecca (the late Philip) Orrin, the late Dorothy (the late Nathan) Bernstein and the late Bernard (the late Ann Sak) Kantor; Brother-in-law of Israel and Irene Kleinbard; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his many loving caregivers; Oscar survived his devoted and loving Leader Dog, Mello. Oscar Band began his career as a builder and developer. Following his building career, Oscar began his career as a Stock Broker working for Lehman Brothers was he worked the balance of his working life.
