Shirley Frost, 93, of Oak Park, Michigan, died on 07 November 2017. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Thursday, 09 November 2017 at 3:00 PM . Rabbi Yonatan Dahlen officiated. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Family members include: Survived by loving nieces and nephews. Beloved wife of the late Charles Frost. Loving sister of the late Gerald Rosen and the late Arlynn Nellhaus. Dear sister-in-law of Estelle Rosen. Shirley grew up in Detroit and spent her summers studying violin, piano and voice at Interlocken. She graduated from the University of Michigan and was a Spanish teacher in Oak Park and in The Detroit Public Schools. She sang opera with the Metro Singers in Oak Park. She wrote poetry and published 'A Living Portrait, Poetry by Shirley Frost'.
