Flora Sevy
Flora Sevy, 91, of Farmington Hills, MI, died after sunset on 13 January 2017. The Funeral was held at The David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220 on Monday, 16 January 2017 at 2:30 PM . Rabbi Joshua Bennett officiated. The family of Flora Sevy will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, January 17 at the residence of Beau and Cathy Sevy, 4176 Autumn Ridge Dr., West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-681-5777. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00PM Monday and Tuesday evenings. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Mario Sevy. Loving mother of Robert "Beau" (Cathy) Sevy, David (Tina) Sevy, Victor (Tammy) Sevy and Jerry (Jorita) Sevy. Adored grandmother of Michael Sevy, Tony (Fiance Lauren Roumayah) Sevy, Dawn (Kevin) Biga, Jennifer Sevy, Laura (David) Dunton, Julia (Fiance Alex Roth) Sevy, Alex Sevy and Shane Sevy. Cherished great grandmother of Alex, Blake and Carson. Dear sister of Jacko (Rosa) Tesouva and Annetta Ben-Ozuillo. Mrs. Sevy was a Holocaust Survivor. Although she wasn't in a death camp, she did fight the Germans during WWII. She was a founding member of Keter Torah Synagogue and a 60 year member of the Sephardic community.
