 | Throughout her life, Ilene Kaufman Techner has been linked to The Ira Kaufman Chapel. Family members from he rgrandfather, the late Ira Kaufman, to her children have been actively involved in maintaining the chapel's close association with Detroit's Jewish community. In 1989, Ilene developed After Care Services, a self-operated program of support to those who have suffered the death of a loved one. Her work is conducted with the professionalism of a social service agency; she has a B.S.N. degree in nursing with a specialty in psychology. |
