 | Author of the book "A Candle for Grandpa, A guide to the Jewish Funeral for Children and Parents," David Techner is an expert in talking to children about death. He has appeared on national and local television and radio talk shows, and lectures around the country to teachers, school districts, and at various support group meetings. David was licensed as a Funeral Director in 1974, although he actually began his association with The Ira Kaufman Chapel while in high school. A former president of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association, David serves on the boards of several synagogues and non-profit organizations. |
