Albert RosenblumThe Funeral was held at Congregation Beth Shalom, 14601 W. Lincoln, Oak Park, Michigan on Sunday, 10 October 2010 at 10:30 AM. Rabbi David Nelson, Rabbi Robert Gamer and Cantor Samuel Greenbaum officiated. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
The family of Albert Rosenblum will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, October 14 at the residence, 4502 Cherry Hill Drive, Orchard Lake MI 48323 . Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of 63 years of Ida Rosenblum. Cherished father of Diane Rosenblum (Mark Mitshkun), Dr. Stephen Rosenblum (Dr Rosalyn Sarver) and Susan Rosenblum. Loving grandfather of Aaron, Daniel and Sara Rosenblum. Dear brother of Lew Rose and Harry Rosenblum. Brother-in-law of the late Anne Rose, the late Anita Rosenblum, the late Tillie Bloch, the late Max Dobrowitsky and the late Ruth Dobrowitsky. Albert graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was co-owner of Dobrowitsky-Rosenblum Company. They were Developers and Builders of residential homes, apartments and manufactured housing communities. They also built Congregation Beth Shalom in the mid-1950's. Albert was a co-pilot of B-24 Bombers in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
