David Robert Nelson, 81, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, died after sunset on 13 April 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 18 April 2024 at 10:00 AM . Rabbi Mark Miller officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of David Robert Nelson will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, April 18 at the residence of Nicole and Kevin Bopp, 1793 Melbourne, Birmingham MI 48009. Family and friends will be gathering from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Religious services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Please be sure to utilize the valet parking service arranged by the family. Family members include: Beloved husband of 55 years to Sylvia Nelson. Cherished father of Nicole (Kevin) Bopp, David Erik Nelson (Cara Spindler), and Danielle Nelson (Justin Lundquist). Treasured grandfather of Jacob Hertzberg, Griffin Bopp, Otto Nelson, Aziza Nelson, and Ava Lundquist. Loving nephew of the late A. Alfred Taubman.
