Ruth Lax, 98, of Birmingham, Michigan, died on 11 April 2024. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 14 April 2024 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Harold Loss and Cantor Neil Michaels officiated. The family of Ruth Lax will be gathering through the evening of Sunday, April 14 at the residence of Ellen and Marc Whitefield, 4797 Pickering, Bloomfield Hills MI 48301. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT NO FOOD BE SENT TO THE HOME. Family members include: Beloved mother of Sherry (Danny) Stewart, Ellen (Marc) Whitefield, Geraldine (Paul Perilli) Erman, and David Erman. Loving grandmother of Marc Stewart, Brian (Rachel) Stewart, Lauren (Jonathan) Sterling, and Johannah (Sam) Schiffer. Adored great-grandmother of Olivia and Emma Stewart, Jonah and Max Sterling, and Dahlia and Jack Schiffer. Dear sister of the late Joan (the late Norman) Shapiro.
