Mel Markowitz
Mel Markowitz, 80, of Southfield, Michigan, died on 26 June 2017. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Wednesday, 28 June 2017 at 12:00 PM . Rabbi Paul Yedwab officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Beth Moses (Beth Ahm) Cemetery.
The family of Mel Markowitz will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, June 29 at the residence of Norman & Kim Markowitz, 5477 Ardon Court, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The family invites friends to visit on Wednesday immediately following the interment service through 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Sybil H. Markowitz. Cherished father of Andrew (Linda) Markowitz, Mindy Markowitz, Norman (Kim) Markowitz, and Richard Markowitz. Loving grandfather of Michelle Markowitz, Tony Markowitz, Amanda (Andrew Dahm) Markowitz Dahm, Ryan Markowitz, Rachel (Fiancee Matt Stierhof) Markowitz, Jessica Markowitz, Nicole Markowitz, Sarah (Cameron Marion) Markowitz Marion, Alex Markowitz, and Mackenzie Markowitz. Dear brother-in law of Margo (Michael) Goldman and the late Winnie (the late Joe) Snyder. Brother of the late Beverly (the late Joseph) Baunoch. Son of the late Louis and the late Ada Markowitz. Son-in-law of the late Norman and the late Rubye Schreiber. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and his loving companion Clifford.
