Esther Shapiro, 85, of West Bloomfield, Michigan, died on 02 June 2017. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Monday, 05 June 2017 at 2:00 PM . Rabbi Michael Moskowitz and Cantor Penny Steyer officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Esther Shapiro will be gathering through the evening of Tuesday, June 06 at the residence, 4786 Tara Court, West Bloomfield Mi 48323. The phone number is 248-851-3306. Religious Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday evenings. Friends are welcome immediately following interment through 9:00 p.m. Monday evening and on Tuesday from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Family members include: Beloved wife (65 years) of the late Harry Shapiro. Cherished mother of Barbara Shapiro, Audrey Shapiro, Gary (Dobi) Shapiro, and Carol Shapiro-Havis. Proud grandmother of Aaron (Amanda) Wilkin, Jacob (Rebekah) Shapiro, Victoria (Steven) Hakim, Ilana Shapiro, Lilly Havis, and Izzy Havis. Adoring great-grandmother of Ari Morris Shapiro. Devoted daughter of the late Morris and the late Gertrude Landau. Loving sister of the late Joseph (Resa) Landau. Dear sister-in-law of the late Sarah (the late Phil) Cherrin. Sweet aunt to Bruce (Shelley) Cherrin, the late Marilyn (the late Seymour) Lansat, the late Jim Cherrin, Ari Landau, Julia (Ben) Dewees, and Nicole Landau. Also survived by other loving family members, and many adoring friends.
