Rheda Bernstein Zamler, 96, of West Bloomfield, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2017 with her cherished family at her side.

Rheda Bernstein Zamler was the loving wife of her first true love, the late Irving Bernstein, for 36 years. After his untimely passing she was fortunate to find another kind and compassionate man. She was predeceased by her second husband, Benjamin Singer after 24 years of marriage. At the age of 79, Rheda found a wonderful companion once again and was married for 7 years before her husband, Albert Zamler predeceased her.

She is survived by her adoring children, Sandi and the late Marty Mellin and Marcia Saperstein; treasured grandchildren Irika Mellin, Lauren & Derek Partovich, Chad and Adrienne Saperstein and Rodney Saperstein; and her little “princes”, her great-grandsons, Blake Morton Partovich & Cole Marty Partovich who were still able to make her laugh and smile up until the end.

Rheda was the cherished sister of the late Jay Epstein, the late Arlene and the late Jack Levine. She was the special aunt of the late Michael Levine and cherished daughter of the late Sam and the late Ethel Epstein.

Rheda was a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She possessed a phenomenal sense of humor, wit and kindness that was admired and shared with everyone.
