Dora Ackerman, 97, of Longwood, Florida, formerly of Detroit, died after sunset on 06 May 2017. The Funeral was held at GRAVESIDE on Wednesday, 10 May 2017 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Steven Rubenstein officiated. Interment at Beth Abraham Cemetery.
Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Cantor Shabtai Ackerman. Cherished mother of Leah (Jerome) Freedman and the late Fred Ackerman. Proud grandmother of David (Audrey) Freedman, Amy (Patrick) Peck, and Dr. Jeffrey (Melissa) Ackerman. Adoring great-grandmother of Abby and Lilly Freedman, Elliot and Ian Peck, Spencer and Logan Ackerman. Dear sister of Clara Yarkony.
