Samuel Katz, 88, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, died on 26 April 2017. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 30 April 2017 at 1:00 PM . Rabbi Aaron Starr and Hazzan Daniel Gross officiated. Click  to watch a video of the recorded service.Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
The family of Samuel Katz will be gathering through the evening of Monday, May 01 at the residence of Monica & Scott Goodwin, 5311 Forest Way, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. Religious services will be conducted at 7:00 Sunday and Monday evenings. Family members include: Beloved husband of 57 years of Sharon Hope Katz. Cherished father of Cynthia Katz Heyman, Monica (Scott) Goodwin and Karin Sherman. Adoring grandfather of Arianna Heyman, Alana Karbal, Ashley Karbal, Karlee Goodwin, Danielle Sherman, Joshua Sherman and Fallan Sherman. Loving son of the late Eli and the late Sarah Katz. Dear brother of the late Sally (the late Sol) Sloan, the late Gershon Katz and the late Rachel Katz. Mr. Katz was the owner of Produce Palace in Warren.
