FUNERAL DETAILS
Rabbi Stanley Yedwab
Rabbi Stanley Yedwab, died at his home, in Bellevue, Washington under hospice care on February 20, 2017. His funeral will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 23, at Temple Beth Am Shalom, in Lakewood N.J, the congregation he served so faithfully and dynamically for almost four decades. A special shiva service in his memory will take place in the temple's social hall that evening at 7 PM. Interment at Beth Olam Memorial Park Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
Family members include: Beloved husband of the late Myra Yedwab. Cherished father of Rabbi Paul (Wendy) Yedwab and Laura Yedwab (Daniel Weise). Adoring grandfather of Ariella Yedwab, Jesse Yedwab, Zoe Yedwab, and Nathan Weise. Along with his wife Myra z"l, Stanley was a crusader for civil rights, and an immigration activist, as well as a gifted therapist, teacher and preacher. As his intellect receded toward the end of his life and his memory virtually disappeared, somehow, miraculously, his wisdom and kindness remained. He was a remarkable man.
