Ruth "Nancy" Barr, 89, of West Bloomfield, MI, died on 24 October 2016. The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Thursday, 27 October 2016 at 11:00 AM . Rabbi Aaron Bergman and Cantor Daniel Gross officiated. The phone number is 248-855-4659. The family welcomes friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, with Religious Services at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. On Friday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12 noon through the evening. Family members include: Beloved wife of 65 years of Dr. Martin Barr. Loving mother of Dr. Lawrence (Sue) Barr, Richard (Nancy Welber Barr) Barr, Debbie Shapiro and Steven (Patti) Barr. Adored grandmother of Dr. Rachel (Lee Grzesh) Barr, Allison (Blake) Bertany, Jessica (Joel) Albers, Jennifer Shapiro, Emily (Henri) Larivee, Rebecca Shapiro, Michael Barr, Jaclyn Shapiro and Logan Barr. Cherished great-grandmother of Isabella and Zara. Sister of the late Judy Beckman.
