Ruth Lefkowitz, 95, of Franklin, Michigan, died after sunset on 01 August 2016. The Funeral was held at The Davidson/Hermelin Chapel at Clover Hill Park, 2425 14 Mile Rd, Birmingham MI 48009 on Wednesday, 03 August 2016 at 2:00 PM . The family of Ruth Lefkowitz will be gathering through the evening of Thursday, August 04 at the residence of Debbie Taxe, 5477 Woodview, Bloomfield Hills MI 48302. The phone number is 248-538-3907. The family will gather immediately following services on Wednesday, and on Thursday beginning at 2:00 p.m. Religious services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Family members include: Beloved wife of the late Julian Lefkowitz; cherished mother of Steven (Ursula) Lefkowitz, Paul (Janice) Lefkowitz, Jay Lefkowitz, and Carol Lefkowitz (Ellen Oppenheimer); loving Grandma Ruth of Myriam Lefkowitz, David (Allison) Lefkowitz, Annie (Ari Sachter-Zeltzer) Lefkowitz, Joshua Lefkowitz, Ian Lefkowitz, Zoe Lefkowitz, Jack Lefkowitz and Ari Lefkowitz Oppenheimer; proud great-grandmother of Brie Lefkowitz, Jason Lefkowitz, and Elana Zeltzer; adored sister of the late Alice (the late Ted) Mason, Doris (the late George) Taxe, the late Lenore (the late Sam) Miller, and the late Eddie Lester. Lovingly remembered by other family and friends.
