Milton H. Dresner



Milton H. Dresner, 90, of Palm Beach, Florida and New York City, New York, died on 20 July 2016.

The Funeral was held at IRA KAUFMAN CHAPEL on Sunday, 24 July 2016 at 1:00 PM .

Rabbi Daniel B. Syme and Cantor Neil Michaels officiated.

The family of Milton H. Dresner will be gathering through the evening of Monday, July 25 at the residence of Robert and Susan Dresner, 3241 Shadydale Lane, West Bloomfield MI 48323. The phone number is 248-626-5566.

Religious Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday and Monday Evenings.

Cherished father of Maryann Dresner, Jane (Ned) Sadaka and Robert (Susan) Dresner; Loving Papa of Adam Sadaka, Charlie Sadaka, Eric Dresner, Katie Dresner and Lawrence (Kira) Sadaka; Devoted son of the late Sadie and the late Hyman Dresner; Milton H. Dresner is the last of Hyman and Sadie Dresner's eight children, the late David Dresner, the late Albert Dresner, the late Jack Brimberg, the late Morris Dresner, the late Sol Dresner, his twin brother and lifelong business partner, the late Joseph Dresner, and the late Betty Cohen; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and business partner Jack Friedman and his longtime assistants Rebecca Ross, Anne Bonner, and Debbie Lewandowski.

Milton Dresner graduated Central High School and attended Wayne State in Detroit. During World War II, he served in the United States Navy aboard a destroyer in the Philippine Islands. Mr. Dresner returned to Detroit after the war and founded the Highland Companies with his twin brother, Joseph. He was active in the development of single family and multi family housing projects and commercial real estate throughout the United States. He was an active horseman, swimmer and skier.
